You see someone from across the room. They are walking this way. Your heart races as you steal a glance at them. Such glowing beauty you’ve never seen before. You begin to sweat as they draw near. The chain reaction has begun. Your face flushes. Your skin feels hot. Too hot. You get a metallic taste in your mouth. Suddenly you feel dizzy. Is this love? They stop to talk to you. Everything just seems to click. Rapidly. You get invited back to their place. You shouldn’t, you can’t handle the fallout of another one night stand. But there is no turning back now. Nothing can moderate your lust. As you lie next to this stranger in their bed, the skin siding off your arms, you think to yourself, “Not great, not terrible.”
